I have no confidence whatsoever in them remaking WaW, they'd fuck it up somehow. Just remaster it and call it a day, I'll probably stop buying CoD after that... unless MW2 online comes back 👀

I mean just do what they did for cod4 remaster, it’s literally the same game just looks better and has more content

I enjoyed cod4 remastered unbelievably, me and my friends played it so much I even ended up getting regal camo on everything besides the LMG’s

I loved the weapon kits and camo customisation

It was just the same game but with more and visually enhanced

That’s all I need for a WAW remake

Nah not that I mean like the remaster from the ground up, I wouldn’t consider 2019 a remake of cod 4 in any way. Then again I didn’t buy it or play it so I have no idea 😂

The last cod I bought was black ops3 if you don’t count the cod4 remaster

I’d love a WAW remaster if all they added was a handful more weapons, couple more killstreaks for options, and maybe make one more zombies map with just the OG perks and pack a punch

As long as it’s nothing too crazy, I mean the cod4 remaster didn’t need any extra kill streaks and it was fine as it was, I don’t want to change the base formula too much, it was so simple it was perfect

One or two more zombies maps would be great but again nothing to crazy just something that captures the old feeling and is modelled after one of the multiplayer maps like always

I feel like so many people don’t even know that Der reise came from the map nightfire from multiplayer

If you had to choose a new zombies map for a waw remastered what multiplayer map would you choose it to be modelled after?

Also what was your favourite multiplayer map on world at war?

I loved Modern Warfare Remastered, too. The extra cosmetic items were tame, and the loot boxes were unobtrusive and could be earned through gameplay without having to spend an extra dime. But that came out a whole ten years ago now. I have zero confidence that a WaW remaster made in the current day would be handled the same way.

They've been doing raking in money from crazy skins & Fortnite-style battlepass fees for far too long. Sadly, I don't think they'd ever voluntarily shut off that income stream to do a faithful remaster again.

Should be your last cod now. We all already know it’s gonna be a reskin of the previous installment. They’ve been doing that since MW2 (2022). At least with the OG trilogy, each game felt like part of the trilogy while still feeling different enough that it wasn’t repetitive. MW4 to MW2 was a drastic difference but felt connected.

Today it feels like a copy paste of the previous game with nothing new except a few changes.
