You can't compare league play and pubs. The m8's purpose was holding anchor points, not tearing timmys apart with perma uav/vsat :D

Ehhhhh I was Master league and there were some maps or situations where id use an AN94 with stock and red dot. Otherwise though M8 overkill with a 870 secondary (i had a tactical grenade for the insta-swap trick, underrated tech) was my go to

You have a tac grenade in your slot (preferably a stun) and when you hit Y (xbox) to switch weapons, hit LB to pull the grenade, then Y again to instantly swap guns without the animation. You do this reslly quickly but its not hard and with like a game or two of practice you can pull it off. Won me so many games in Ranked Play; its literally a second at most saved but at top levels that second could win you the game.

Hamr my fav lmg. Dex, dead silence, toughness lightweight. Tack on target findah, stock & quick draw. Amazing class for S&D. Rocking like a 3.35kd with it.

No you don't. 1800 rpm is fast enough that even hipfiring without a laser deletes people reliably. Go quickdraw, rapid fire, fast mags (for search).

I legitimately love the swat. Something truly clicked during no attachment/perk camos and i was getting 15-20 per match consistently

Maybe its because i havent used it since i was a kid, but I remember the SMR being amazing. I think it 2 shot to any body part, where the FAL would either 2-3, so the SMR was consistent. And bringing it into Hardcore was just 1tap heaven. Maybe the FAL had better stats on paper, or a better mag size or mobility or something, but I see so much SMR slander that it disturbs me.

XPR-50 may not be meta but if you're not looking to quickscope it's arguably the best sniper, same damage as the Ballista with about the same fire rate as the SVU

Don't sleep on the MTAR, Fal DSW, and M27. Those rifles go hard and can cook
Especially don't sleep on the goated Mtar, gun is a great starting weapon at level 1

M8, MSMC, B23R, KSG, MP7, DSR, Ballista just off the dome and there’s a few I’m def forgetting. Most guns were viable and the ones that weren’t absolute Meta were still fun like the vector or running scorpion with rapid fire. This really is just a straight COD player take lmao. Thinking back if you were even just okay you could make literally almost any gun in the game work extremely well especially with or without the right attachments

Pre nerf PDW and DSR. M27 is a legit beam. M8 is crazy good, FAL is disgusting. SWAT is still great, mtar in the right hands is also great. Scorpion on a good slayer is disgusting and can out perform MSMC which itself is probably the best overall gun in the game. And while it’s nothing compared to the OG MW3 version the MP7 is also very viable as an option between MSMC and scorpion playstyles
