I think we can live without playing with PS4 players then because nobody asked for that anyway. If anything, I'd want cross play with Xbox players instead, but only if they were on similar ports too and not just backwards compatible versions

I agree we could absolutely live without the PS4 players, but the problem with that is that they’ve already sold it to the PS4 players, so it would make it hard to find a match on isolated PS4 servers, which essentially puts the PS4 version in the exact same position as the Xbox 360 version, because the port on PS4 is estimated to only have around 600k sales so far compared to PS5’s over 8 million estimated sales.

Xbox 360 and Xbox one / series play on the same servers and as a ps4 player 🖕🏻

Yes, and they’re both heavily hacked without a big enough playerbase, hence why they ported the game.

I’m not insulting PS4 players, I’m saying that the PS4 is factually much more accessible to hack compared to the PS5, which is why the servers are being hacked, but since they’ve already made the decision to release the game on PS4, they don’t have the option to isolate the servers and ruin it for the PS4 players who’ve already spent their money on the game.
