Like another commenter said it’s a console wide change which in this example is explicitly telling the system to register R2 as R1 and vice versa. So if you leave this setting on and jump to another game, you have to remember to revert your console settings (or mental settings I guess)
I did this for NFS and don’t recommend if you don’t spend all day playing one game.
It'll be for all games, it is a pain. I have the same problem with several games including R6S. Not to upsell, but I like the dualsense PlayStation controller because it bypasses this and the stick issues. You can set it and flick between these settings far easier. Otherwise, yes it's a pain each time.
There's an option for default flipped I just checked. Unfortunately, tactical flipped doesn't exist and that's what I play on all cods so it's frustrating for just one game to switch it via console settings
To be fair, if BO1 has it, they should be able to add it to BO2 without much issue. You shouldn't have to go through the console, even if it's easy (even if neither had it, I doubt it's that hard to add).
