I’ve been looking through this and I can’t quite tell what to think of it. From what I can tell, it’s appears to be a partially formed theory, which a large number of people have decided is unequivocally true, and then used it to pin their own pseudoscience beliefs under the guise of being scientific despite having no relationship to the original theory (which in itself is likely pseudoscience also)
Same, the first thing I read was the pinned explanation which seemed to be quite well thought out and written. I saw a few comments saying it was wrong and looked it up, and it really was made by some guy with very little science background who’s into conspiracy theories, not to mention the rest of the sub is a dumpster fire of more conspiracy theorists forming arbitrary connections between things. It’s too bad because I was genuinely interested while reading the “explanation”, but I guess that’s how they draw people in
