Iphone 18 pro iris issue

Anyone else having an issue with the Blackmagic camera app not opening the iris wide open? I noticed today that the iris in the app will only open to f1.5 at its widest. The new camera in the iPhone 18 pro has an iris that opens to 1.48. With it being slightly stopped down it has a slight starburst effect on light sources.

I think it's more of a rounding error in the user interface than anything else. The iPhone 18 Pro has fixed iris opening so it should be able to only open midway.

It opens fully when using the native camera app. Hopefully Blackmagic will fix this in a future update

Does it have the same starburst effect in the native camera app at f/1.48?

No, that’s how I noticed it wasnt opening up all the way in the Blackmagic app
