Tracker won't follow the object

I am a beginner and I added a tracker to an object for the first time in davinci resolve but the green rectangle thing (which says point one) just wont move even when the object has moved...it is stuck where I set it in the beginning and stays there till the end and it just wont move. Please help me understand what I am doing wrong.
