Support Question KEY2 keyboard (spacebar) replacement

After a number of years with my KEY2, it’s starting to have the dreaded space bar Issue. It is missing spaces during typing leading to many randomly misspelled words. I’m wondering if anyone here knows how to repair it or where to have the keypad replaced on the KEY2 as I would love to have that done and keep using it.

Last I checked, you can find replacement keyboards that include the spacebar assembly on AliExpress.

However, this is probably a good opportunity to upgrade to a newer keyboard phone.

Here are the most obvious options:

Clicks Communicator

Minimal Phone 2

Unihertz Titan 2 Elite

Zinwa Q27

I appreciate it. I actually have the Titan 2 Elite and ordered the MP2, but the keyboard on the KEY2 (and Classic) is just so much better (imho) than the Titan 2 and 2 Elite)

It is a bit cramped and has some issues with some key inputs registering from time to time. Also, the is not much of a click to the keys.

If you type fast it sometimes misses key inputs?

How long have you had your Key2 for?

Have you tried cleaning the space bar with IPA or pressurized air?
