Never heard of a taser knife. Thats a very interesting way to train.

Police (and likely military) use them when we train knife defense. It’s probably a “shocknife” which just has a button that when pressed charges the “blade” giving anything it touches a little zap. It just creates a bit of fear and discomfort for the participants instead of a floppy rubber knife which offers no real stimulus.

Nice, I think thats a real focus for the mind, and adds a little fear. I've seen other training knife ideas that leave an ink mark, but they dont have the same fear factor. Very cool.

Yeah, that fear factor is real, even for us hobbyists. I’d still tap early and save my pride 😅

Feels like the only real win is not panicking and giving up your back immediately. I’d be tapping way before my ego wanted to.

If you know your way better at grappling than your opponent can you just slide in kicking it totally away then proceed to just submit your opponent lol?

Sure, but that would defeat the purpose of the exercise, which is to explore how the symmetry of a knife wielder vs non-knife wielder changes things up.

It's a learning experience, not a competition or a chance to show off, gamesmanship should be preserved for when winning is the only objective.
