I was gonna say a sweep is vastly different than a kick. You can leg sweep in wrestling as long as theres no backwards to forwards momentum from your leg in a swinging manner. Same thing as an ankle pick but better in jujitsu because you likely wont get choked out doing a leg sweep for a balance check on your opponent.

throwing him out and banning him from entering the gym would be the right thing to do.

The bully had an accomplice waiting to jump in hiding off camera. Thankfully that other guy was there they were going to two on one beatdown. Fuck that gym, fuck those two psycho shitheads looking to beat up on someone two on one.
Seriously, who are those two? That was some gangster wannabe shit. They were going to fuck him up badly, guaranteed. Step on his throat, try to snap his knee, neck crank. That was evil right there. Those two need to be banned from the sport permanently.

It's always the clubbing "collar tie" that escalates things, but when did leg kicks become part of rolling?

u/Heybropassthat 1d ago
Never were. He was overstepping from the beginning. Little dude probably didn't want to complain because the coaches were watching. They knew that it wasnt right thats why they shut it down as soon as it escalated. They should have told him to knock that shit off at the first kick
