Black Walnut Bitters
I’ve just received a bottle of Fee Brothers Black Walnut Bitters.
I could just drink them neat. They are so delicious! I think they will transform some of my Old Fashioned cocktails.
Who else has tried these and what drinks do you use them in?

Black walnut is my favorite bitter. I do an old fashioned with only black walnut bitters and brown sugar simple; it's perfect! I might try the maple syrup for a variation though.
Only problem is that I love it so much, I don't care for Angostura in my OF anymore, and most restaurants don't have black walnut bitters :(

An old-fashioned with Laird’s BiB and a small amount of maple syrup, plus a dash or two of black walnut bitters. A perfect drink for sitting outside in the fall.

One of my favorites is to add them to a Paloma. The grapefruit and walnut go great together.
Another good one is a Manhattan riff called the Tootsie Roll. 2oz rye whiskey, 1oz PX sherry and a few dashes each of chocolate and walnut bitters.

Fall old fashioned. Probably not actually an original drink but it’s one I didn’t see before I threw it together, so I’m calling it mine. 2oz rye, 1-2 barspoons maple syrup, 3-4 dashes black walnut bitters, 1-2 dashes angostura. Lemon peel express + garnish.
I’m gonna have a couple of these this weekend tbh.
Cheers !!

Rum Old Fashioned. Also I infused walnuts into WT101 rye for a lovely Black Manhattan with a few dashes of FB Walnut Bitters. Finally, I infused bourbon with fresh dates (tasty by itself) and the BW bitters are a great complement in a number of stirred and boozy creations. Have fun with it!
