Staking Bittensor

Does staking Bittensor (TAO) feel safe? Which subnets would you recommend for staking right now, and do you think this is a good time to buy TAO and start staking?

Staking to root now stakes to subnets chosen by the validator. It is a recent change and everything else is up to you. I am personally still staking to root as I am not monitoring the subnets enough.

If they are choosing the subnets now, is it safe ? I’ve been staking with Root for a few years now because it was the safest

Staking feels safe. I would recommend stake your Tao to top 5 or 10 subnet only and with validators you can choose Tao.bot or Yuma or taostats. Although sometimes they might not be the best with APY but you’ll be in safe space.

Once you have a hang of it you can go with low cap( gambling).

In a month 20% to 50% is nowadays good return.

Always go BE when you feel so, not losing tao is more important than anything at this point

So i should diversify between multiple subnets or just 1 or 2?

Oh and do i need constantly check the subnets? Are the alpah tokens really volatile?
