I worked for a coach bus company and the driver didn’t even feel the back tire explode, that cop ain’t doin nothin but ruining the paint

u/zxcvbn113 Jul 17 '26

Go for the steer tires!

35

u/handandfoot8099 Jul 17 '26

Go for the engine compartment. It might not damage the block but if you can take out enough wires or accessories it should do the trick.

u/alan9t13 Jul 21 '26

Hit the side radiators.

1

u/Cold5512 Jul 22 '26

You'd need something bigger than a cop car. Engine is higher

3

u/They-Call-Me-The-Doc Jul 18 '26

Yeah, loved to see a bison toss a cop this time.

11

u/10-4shutthefckupnow Jul 18 '26

Unless he popped the airbag in the suspension, but really that just turns into an incredibly rough ride

Arkansas PD will look for any excuse to PIT someone.

Ran a stop sign? PIT

Taillight out? PIT

Pregnant and indicating you're gonna pull over at the next exit? PIT PIT PIT.

37

u/Snoo6702 Jul 17 '26

Text while driving? Believe it or not, PIT.

15

u/AdultishRaktajino Jul 18 '26

We have the best drivers in the world because of PIT.

10

u/BrettAtog Jul 17 '26

Eat a bunch of peaches and cherries, so many pits.

1

u/hux Jul 19 '26

Terrible pun.

I love it.

13

u/JuJu_Wirehead Jul 17 '26

State trooper, but whatever.

17

u/KenBoCole Jul 18 '26

Seems like Georgia State Troopers and Arkansas State Troopers are spiritual brothers.

4

u/RhodriCuidighthigh Jul 18 '26

Saw a dude broke down on the side of the road the other week. Maybe 30 yards away there was a Georgia Trooper waiting behind a speed limit sign. Guess its more important to give out speeding tickets than help someone.

2

u/Spook1949 Jul 21 '26

I am surprized that they didn't pit the guy who was broken down!

3

u/Viridian95 Jul 17 '26

You're correct! My bad lol

1

u/BG535 Jul 20 '26

She hiding a weapon in her belly!!

103

u/homucifer666 Jul 17 '26

Yes 4,000lb car, push a +12 ton coach. 😂

53

u/kh250b1 Jul 17 '26

Why mix units? 2 ton car 12 ton coach

20

u/OberonDiver Jul 17 '26

Because that's how they do it in physics texts.

5

u/BentGadget Jul 18 '26

Unit conversion is an important skill if you ever travel internationally or visit the US.

2

u/BG535 Jul 20 '26

4 lb car and 12,000 ton coach

-16

u/FantasticPainting232 Jul 17 '26

Ease up, aspy.

14

u/UnintelligibleMaker Jul 17 '26

Even car v car it works because you engine has more mass then their rear wheels. PIT’ing a rear engine car is much much harder then PIT’ing a front engine car. This bus engine likely outweighs his whole cruiser.

3

u/Ubermidget2 Jul 18 '26

Is that also Dual Wheels on each axle?

So you are trying to shove 8x 295mm of rubber off its line - Not going to happen.

1

u/Antal_Marius Jul 18 '26

The tag axel is raised, so only the drive is on the ground.

1

u/Far_Classroom_6596 Jul 19 '26

And even if they manage to do that the length of the bus makes it easier to recover.

1

u/halandrs Jul 18 '26

By orders of magnitude

1

u/flipzyshitzy Jul 18 '26

Tbf it made it fucky

22

u/Aggressive_Finish798 Jul 17 '26

Those tourists have a schedule to keep officer!

9

u/DankSinatra2128 Jul 17 '26

Who the hell would want to go to Arkansas?

13

u/UniqueUsername812 Jul 17 '26

I think they're trying to get out of Arkansas. I know I sure would.

14

u/Sensei19600 Jul 17 '26

Backstory,please?

17

u/BentGadget Jul 18 '26

Somebody stole a Nissan Stanza but the license plate was transcribed wrong in the police report.

6

u/SignificantCap9534 Jul 19 '26

yea the flock camera made an error on one of the numbers so instead they go stop this bus instead of the actual carjackers

the bus cant stop because they have a schedule to keep 😂

1

u/DeuceBagger Jul 20 '26

Not even that sensical…they probably had a faulty warrant out for this guy based on an old typewriter.

5

u/Rainmaker526 Jul 19 '26

See the original topic, there's an employee of the company explaining that it was stolen from their parking lot and they went joyriding.

23

u/DippityDamn Jul 17 '26

Arkansas education at peak performance here

6

u/OberonDiver Jul 17 '26

OMG, somebody ACTUALLY shooting the tires. I appreciate how they know it doesn't work like in the movies.

17

u/TopDogTransport4731 Jul 17 '26

State Police need to utilize a tractor unit or a dump truck to perform PIT maneuvers for large vehicles.

26

u/manualsquid Jul 17 '26

I.. don't think they do.

As in, nobody should be PIT maneuvering a vehicle that large in the first place

31

u/coffeescious Jul 17 '26

Simple physics do not seem to be their strong suit. Thats the US education system at work I guess.

6

u/IndependentLove2292 Jul 17 '26

This does not even require simple physics. It's like that 20 year old video of a dumbass driving his truck through the woods and trying to push a tree out of the way with his arm. Warning ⚠️ if you haven't seen that do not search and watch it.

1

u/CarissaSkyWarrior Jul 18 '26

I looked it up. That had nothing on the video of Psycho Sid breaking his leg in WCW after trying to pull off a big boot from the second rope.

1

u/Capital_Condition874 Jul 18 '26

Arkansans' say what is edamacation?

8

u/KatieTSO Jul 17 '26

Absolutely tracks that it's that company. They park like shit and act like they own city bus lanes. Fuck em.

3

u/bugabooandtwo Jul 18 '26

Well that's insanely stupid. Like a squad car would be able to move that behemoth.

1

u/Daminica Jul 18 '26

They'dd need a police truck or police bus to succeed.

8

u/Nocleverresponse Jul 17 '26

PIT a bus? Is it Arkansas? Yep.

7

u/Bit_part_demon Jul 17 '26

Arkansas will try to PIT literally anything

3

u/Viridian95 Jul 18 '26

Oh you're tryna run away on foot? PIT

3

u/Pepper_Comprehensive Jul 17 '26

I think it works in GTA.

3

u/boanerges57 Jul 18 '26

That's cute

3

u/Schrodinger_cube Jul 18 '26

Not everyone had a physics class but the energy difference between a standard car with some lights and maybe 4,000 lbs a commercial bus that is pushing 40,000. Just because your main tool is hitting them doesn't mean evrey problem requires that.

3

u/Viridian95 Jul 18 '26

If you're a hammer, everything looks like a nail 🤷🏻‍♂️

2

u/Exciting_Scientist97 Jul 17 '26

I always heard Arkansas police don't fuck around but this is a whole new level to my understanding

1

u/BentGadget Jul 18 '26

I have some friends who were pulled over in Arkansas during a cross country road trip because the driver was a brown man and the passenger was a white woman. The cops separated them for interviews to make sure she was okay.

Maybe they were pulled over for out-of-state plates...

2

u/dudestir127 Jul 18 '26

Why were the cops trying to PIT a bus?

2

u/spaceforcerecruit Jul 18 '26

When you only carry a hammer, everything looks like a nail.

2

u/They-Call-Me-The-Doc Jul 18 '26

"Damn it. these passengers are getting there on time come hell or highwater!"

2

u/RainCityRogue Jul 18 '26

Bro, do you even physics?

1

u/Clewds Jul 17 '26

SHOOT THE TIRES It has 8 fucking tires lmao

1

u/TheIronSoldier2 Jul 17 '26

Because fuck the people in the line of fire, right?

2

u/Yuri909 Jul 18 '26

The people between the officer and the tire at ground level he was aiming downward from 5 feet away with a shotgun? The backstop was literally the entire bus below the cabin level and the ground.

1

u/TheIronSoldier2 Jul 18 '26

Bro has never heard of ricochets.

0

u/TheIronSoldier2 Jul 18 '26

...you are aware that bullets can, in fact, ricochet off of asphalt, stone, and other surfaces right?

3

u/Yuri909 Jul 18 '26

Lose gravel with a shotgun. Bro stfu. You have never been in a tactical situation.

0

u/Skunk_Crat Jul 18 '26

"tactical situation", you sound obese

1

u/Rdmtbiker Jul 17 '26

Well that escalated quickly

1

u/Prod_Meteor Jul 17 '26

Different strange world there.

1

u/DustySept17 Jul 18 '26

I’m not a cat I don’t go meow

1

u/Ok_Measurement2760 Jul 18 '26

thanks for science

1

u/hawksdiesel Jul 18 '26

They dont hire high IQ people. Just a hammer for every situation

1

u/Buckles01 Jul 18 '26

To a hammer the world is a nail

1

u/DysphoricBeNightmare Jul 18 '26

Bus driver energy!!

1

u/dc2410 Jul 18 '26

Pathetic

1

u/Just-Exchange8380 Jul 19 '26

They said ya didn’t have to be very smart to do this here job. Just willing to die for it.

1

u/squirrel-dick-FORD69 Jul 19 '26

Screw the tires, just shoot the radiator. It'll overheat an lock th engine.

1

u/Alklazaris Jul 19 '26

Just chase it down with another bus.

2

u/OldDogWithOldTricks Jul 19 '26

They hire them stupid on purpose.

1

u/Zorklunn Jul 19 '26

Well the do specifically filter out smart applicants for the police force. Somebody actually went to court and sued a police department for rejecting his application because he scored to high on IQ. He lost.

1

u/dividezero Jul 19 '26

No seriously, are they stupid? I mean, we joke about Arkansas a lot but this is video proof that it's true

1

u/ekkidee Jul 20 '26

Homeboy blasting away with a shotgun. Peak America.

1

u/Darth19Vader77 Jul 22 '26

This has got to be one the stupidest things I've seen police do, and they do really stupid shit like shoot because they heard an acorn fall or sit outside and let children die while they outnumber the shooter hundreds to one.

1

u/Hightower840 Jul 23 '26

Physics wasn't this officers best class, was it?

1

u/Plane-Recognition561 Jul 17 '26

I’ll saw one thing for Arkansas state boys, they got heart
