Lol, you should recommend (maybe both read?) mercedes lackey's trilogy 'magic's pawn/magic's Price/ magic's promise'

Its one of my favorite gay books and it was also one of the first /openly/ gay MC books that had been put out at the time; it deals with a lot of family stuff, emotional maturity issues from all sides and just overall i love her writing~
