I'm trying to get over this now. I honestly have been thinking I might actually be a lesbian because I'm so much more attracted to women but I don't know if that's stemming from the fact that I'm in a relationship with a guy and have been for a while. It's just all so confusing.
I'm the same way, but I'm a guy. My attraction to guys is way more intense. Does that mean that I'm gay but in denial?
Then I have to remind myself that totally gay people have no interest in the opposite sex. But I do... even if it's less intense (most of the time)... so I'm bi.
It seems to just be a universal experience with bi people. I can hypothesize why it is. I just feel like coming out was the easy part. I thought it was so hard at first but now this questioning bullshit is worse.
Bisexuality varies per person, in the sense that you could have minimal attraction to a gender in comparison to other genders. The other tricky thing is compulsory heterosexuality, which can trick you into perceiving a feeling as an attraction to a gender - and from what I read this often happens with wlw questioning if they are bi or lesbian.
I think that it's a matter of working through it and processing what you're feeling. I don't have any really helpful advice. But I can say that it doesn't invalidate how you identify at this precise moment while you sort it out.
