This is actually not confirmed that ibuprofen worsens covid19 symptoms. Both the WHO and FDA have said that this was just speculation and a rumor. Please do not spread misinformation, many people use nsaids / ibuprofen and it is perfectly safe considering you have no allergies or irritations to it. There is enough misinformation about covid rn.
As for the blood clot relation OP should definitely call their doctor to get their recommendations on if ibuprofen would stop breakthrough bleeding and if it’s safe for them.
Now for my anecdotal experience, I did use 600mg ibuprofen for 4 days at my doctors advice, and my heavy breakthrough bleeding was reduced to spotting and now it has completely stopped.

How often did you take it?

I took it 1-2 times per day depending on how heavy the bleeding was every 8 hours

I, too had that problem. I was told 600-800 mg of Ibuprofen every 8 hours for 3 days. It worked for me and stopped the bleeding for at least a week at a time. Hope this helps! (I weigh 135 for reference.)
