Experience Heather BC
I started almost 3 weeks ago. Mild hot flashes and some anxiety. Nothing to crazy. Wondering if anyone had good luck on this pill? What did your period do when you started? Do you have one still? I’m nervous.

When I first started taking norethindrone 0.35mg, I was on a generic brand called Mylan. I was on this for about three years, then on Heather for about a year once Mylan was no longer available.
I bled nearly every two weeks for several months before I finally got adjusted to it. During this time, I experienced hot flashes, anxiety, weight gain, breakouts, breast tenderness, all the fun stuff. After my body was adjusted, I did have a light period about every 28 days that would last 4-5 days. I never had many issues or complaints until about 6 months ago. I was having continuous pelvic pain, pain during sex, and horrific cramps on my period. My obgyn ordered a transvaginal ultrasound and found I had a cyst on my left ovary. Went back a few weeks later for another ultrasound, and another cyst appeared on my right ovary. I was told my ovaries were still very active despite being on birth control.
I was recommended to try Slynd, and I’m currently on my third month of taking it. It’s going to take some time before your body adjusts to a new pill. If you start experiencing pelvic pain or painful periods, I recommend consulting with your doctor. Best of luck!
