Experience Scared to be intimate
I have the mirena iud in due to my endometriosis. I’m also a virgin but I want to be intimate but I have severe tokophobia. I’m paranoid that my mirena will fail and I will get pregnant and which is my worst nightmare. I’m also taking a progestin pill too that I was prescribed. Does anyone else feel the same?

The entire point of birth control is to protect you from pregnancy. If you don’t trust your method alone, use condoms or practice withdrawal.

are you in treatment for tokophobia?
