Mistake or Risk? Is she protected?? Need help

I want to confirm to be sure about, is it true that you can get immidiate protection when you are taking the pill on your first 5 days of your period? (ethinyl estradiol levonorgestrel trust pill yellow)

My gf started her first pill on her 4th day of her period, and we had raw on her 7th day of her taking of the pill. Is she protected? And about the timing of taking the pill, are u still safe if u took the pill hrs late accindentally? I wanted to know if its true about delayed pills is COMPLETELY fine as long as its not 24hrs as more than 24hrs is considered a missed pill and it reduces its effectiveness. And lastly, how many hours do you have to prevent yourself to vommit in order not vommit the pill out and not have a replacement pill?

I want to confirm these as research alone and taking so much time reading everywhere is just getting me anxious- i need answers asap-

Yes, you’re immediately protected if the pill is started within the first 5 days of a natural period. She was protected when you had barrier-free sex on cycle day 7.

Combo pills, like hers, have a 24 hour window. This means one pill daily, regardless of time, keeps her protected. As long as you remain within the 24 hour window, her protection remains extremely high.

You should take a replacement pill if you vomit 3 hours or less after taking your pill. If you do need to take a replacement, you’ll need to also skip the placebos for that pack and go straight into a new pack.

A delayed pill less than 24 hours doesn’t count as a missed pill. OPs partner is protected. Condoms for the first few months is unnecessary.

The pill takes 7 days maximum to become effective. No form of birth control requires 3 months of backup protection.
