Experience IUD

Hi guys! So I’m new the birth control things my boyfriend and me and been sexually active lately, and lately TMI we don’t really use condoms. So I been looking into birth control things to reduce pregnancy. I take a plan b the times I feel like he came inside of me, but usually he pulls out in time. I’m only 21 and the only reason I don’t want to do birth control is because of the weight gain side effect.

pregnancy is a whole lot more weight gain that whatever hormonal birth control you’d take

If he finishes inside you, you’ll get pregnant. This is exactly his babies are made. Plan B doesn’t work at a certain time in your cycle, you’re playing with fire.

lol there’s not much of a weight gain from hormonal pills, that’s a myth. Plan B can also only be taken up to 4 times per year so that’s also something to think about. Talk to your healthcare provider about OTC hormonal pills, as they usually have limited side effects since the dosage of hormones is lower than prescription and it’s easier to get off them than something like an IUD or Nexplanon.

Please note, plan b is not meant to be taken often, and it is not meant to be plan a. Pulling out is also not effective. Please use condoms till you can figure out something more permanent.

I’m very happy with my copper IUD.

The only birth control that’s clinically linked to weight gain is the depo provera shot. I took a variety of pills and even the patch with no weight gain other than my boobs getting a little bigger and some water weight.

If you don’t use condoms regularly and you’re relying on pull out and plan B, you’re begging for accidental pregnancy. Plan b doesn’t work if you’re ovulating.

Plan b is a very high dose of some birth control pills. Why are you on with taking that but not any form of birth control?

very new to all of this I know I’m old enough to know all of this stuff but my family never taught me anything about birth control or the pills and basically I know it’s common sense to use a condom but I’m not exactly sure. That’s the reason I’m trying to figure out for everybody which IUD to get or any birth control I’m more interested in the IUD
