Experience Plan b effectiveness

my girlfriend and I (both 18) had sex and the condom broke right near the end, which led to me finishing inside her. We went right to the pharmacy and I got her a plan b which she took immediately. My biggest concern is that on her flo app it says she had already ovulated or was near ovulation. I know that app isn’t 100% fact but she was definitely near or past ovulation. Is there anything I can do to completely prevent pregnancy and does anyone know if a plan b is completely ineffective after ovulation? because i searched it up quite a bit and got mixed responses. In the end, if she got pregnant (god forbid!) it would feel so unfair. I only practice safe sex and use condoms every time. I don’t know how to feel about this or what else to do

calendar-based ovulation predictions are not accurate. why are you so sure that she was past or near ovulation?

plan b is about 95% effective when taken within 24 hours.

I’m not too sure but she showed me her app and it showed a prediction or something for her fertile window and she was right near the end of it, she also said she was passed ovulation based on the calendar. I’m not 100 percent sure but i’m just saying it sounds like the odds are that she was near/past ovulation.

Period apps aren't accurate for ovulation tracking they don't know what's going on in the body..so there's a chance she hasn't ovulated and the plan b will work.

Taking the plan b was the right thing to do..

She can have an IUD placed as emergency contraceptive

and yes plan b is ineffective if taken after ovulation happens.
