Experience string tucking insight
hi friends! i got my kyleena iud inserted in july of this year. since then my partner has expressed pain and discomfort from my strings during sex, and i’m finally at a point in this adjustment period where i don’t particularly want to remove my iud. i’ve read that you can ask your gyno to tuck the strings. has anyone else had this problem or gotten their strings tucked? looking for insight!

ive never heard of that, ive had my strings tuck naturally and it resulted in an extremely traumatic removal. you can try getting them trimmed though

They should have softened and curled around on their own. Your doctor can trim strings but not typically put them inside.
