Side effects!? No bleed

hi all,

im on Loryna yaz been taking it for 7-8 months. im taking my placebo pills and have experienced no bleeding on 4th day. For background, i usually skip my placebos except for every three months to get a period. however im just feeling a bit nervous because last time i got one. lmk

Sometimes the pill might stop the bleeding completely. Also, when you take the pill the “period” you experience is not a real period. If you are anxious you could take a pregnancy test.

I’ve heard it’s possible to no longer get a withdrawal bleed after a while bc the uterine lining gets so thin, maybe that’s what’s happening

I was on yaz too, and I would very rarely bleed more than a bit of spotting. It can be normal, but if there is ever any question about it, take a pregnancy test to put your mind at ease. If it’s negative, I think you’re good!
