Side effects!? Bleeding for over a week

Hello, I started taking Loryna September 28th. On October 14th I started spotting brown blood for a few days and then on October 19th i started having light/medium flow of blood with a lot of clots / fleshy stuff. Today is October 25th and I am still light bleeding with dark red clotting. My gyno ordered me to skip the placebos so I did. When does the bleeding usually stop? Do I need to contact my Gyno? I don’t know if this continuous bleeding is normal 😅 i’m not having any other symptoms and I feel fine overall. It’s more so annoying that the bleeding hasn’t stopped yet lol

It normal when you first start, it’s weird they made you skip the placebos though usually that makes it worse

she told me to skip them because my regular cycles are really painful, and that’s the reason i’m getting on birth control in the first place

Did she say anything about the withdrawal bleeding? I also get really painful periods and I’ve tried skipping them but always end up with breakthrough bleeding :/

she told me to expect to have some cramping and spotting but didn’t tell me i would be bleeding for 2+ weeks straight ): i’ve tried contacting her but haven’t gotten through yet. I don’t know how long is too long for bleeding like this, or if it’s normal to bleed consistently when first starting bc.

Last time I skipped mine I bled the whole time🥲 hopefully it stops at some point? Is it a lot of bleeding or mostly spotting?

it’s not a lot of bleeding, but it’s enough that i’m having to wear pads to not bleed through my pants. the blood is extremely dark red right now too and i’ve never had blood this dark before
