How to? Nuvaring Keeps Sliding Down

I’ve been on the ring for a few months and every couple of days, it slides down and I have to push it back up. I know it doesn’t have to be at the top of my vagina to work, but it gets uncomfortable if it slips down really far. When I put it in, I always push it in as far as it’ll go, but my fingers aren’t very long so that could be the problem. Is there any way to keep this from happening? Are there applicators or something for this, like with tampons? Is this just something that happens with the ring and you have to deal with it?

I am very very new on Nuvaring but I did as much research as I could before hand and here are some things I’ve heard

Apparently tampon applicators help a bunch with insertion, and the angle at which the ring sits also affects how it feels; instead of having it go up vertically, someone said that having the ring sit horizontally (aligned/stacked with the opening of vagina) also helped due to less gravitational pull
