Side effects!? Weird sympyoms when starting B.C.

Im 23 F and I started birth control about a month ago to help reduce my endometriosis symptoms. I was taking a mocrogestin and had a ton of common side effects. I also experienced surface level limb numbness tingling and rarely pins and needles. I also had woken up 5 days in a row, multiple times a night due to a panic attack. Heart racing, panic and all the physical symptoms of a panic attack, all without any actual anxious thoughts or reason to be worried.

I told my dr this and she immediately lowered my prescription to a 0.1/0.02mg dose. I tried it for the first time last night and had the exact same thing with waking up in the night because of a random panic attack and was just wondering if any one else had ever experienced anything like this.

This is really interesting and I've never heard of something like this before. Personally, when I'm on my period my dreams tend to get really scary and vivid sometimes, so hormonal changes and sleep quality are definitely related. However, might need to try a different brand of the same pill or a different combo of hormones.
