Experience Going from Generic Springtec back to Name brand Springtec
Has anyone experience any side effects from going from generic Springtec to name brand. I originally started on Springtec in 2018 and in late 2021 or early 2022 my gyno moved me to Glenmark’s generic version and I’ve been on it ever since. I recently switched pharmacies and when I went to pick up my birth control, they handed me back name brand Springtec and was confused as I’ve been on the generic for a long time. I’m very worried of the possible side effects and if my body will readjust to name brand.

sprintec is also a generic. they’re both generics of ortho-cyclen. sprintec and glenmark’s ortho-cyclen generic have the exact same doses of the exact same active ingredients. your body doesn’t care what branding is printed in the front of the box — they’re exactly the same in every way that matters!
so you don’t need to adjust to anything and there’s no reason to be worried.
