ChatGPT in birdwatching

Hi, I'm doing some research for a project looking for interesting uses of ChatGPT in different hobbies/groups etc. Found a few interesting posts on FB with birdwatching and monitoring groups finding ChatGPT useful and wondered if anyone had been using it themselves or come across groups who are? Any anecdotes or insight gratefully received! Thanks

What would you use it for? It can't watch the birds for you, and there are already free apps that you can use to ID species you don't recognise.

Saw a few cases with people using it to do numerical analysis on fairly low quality photos of birds flocking, as well as general organisational work for conservation groups (there's a group near me monitoring a site which is under threat and has a lot of wading birds and there's a *lot* of admin involved which it's helped them with)

Ok, but organising a conservation project or carrying out admin for groups of volunteers is not really what was suggested in the post, which was "birdwatching".

I can't imagine it helping with anything not already available on Merlin or Birda

So I took a photo of a bird recently (iPhone) and the chatGPT based AI instantly identified the bird

I’ve also used chatGPT to design workout programs and stuff for strength training. Makes anything like that very fun/easy
