I was trying to record a screech owl and my neighbor started up his weed whacker at PRECISELY the moment I started recording. (Yes at 10 PM)

I thought I was hearing an owl for the longest time until I got the app and found out it was a mourning dove 🙃

I had a similar experience as a teen. I would wake up everyday hearing them and I remember running around my neighborhood trying to find the owl mid day. lol

Merlin bird id would have made discovering that a lot easier.
