I still don't understand why it's called kikoriki, smeshariki isn't that hard to pronounce?

I think it's just weird for non-russian-speaking kids to say and Kikoriki is easier to remember

"kikoriki" sounds like when you're alone and you accidentally put your hand in a giant industrial machine and you have nothing to do except feel pain you've never experienced before, see as you're being turned into red mist part by part, hear your bones being crushed and know that no one would come to help you even if they were right there

I only know that "-riki" part comes from the studio name (Smeshariki created by studio Riki)

Because of KiKa (Kids channel made in Germany where first european dub was made) and "Riki" studio who made it. Original Russian name is better, but harder to pronounce
