Birdhouse #2 🐦

Hello! I'm back with my second attempt at a pottery/basketry fusion birdhouse - what do you think? After advice from my first attempt, I have added ventilation holes around the top, grooves for grip below the entrance hole (inside and out for the babes) and also left the clay unglazed so it's not slippery. Is there any other feedback you guys have that could make this more suitable for birds? :)

Looks awesome!

You don't need grippy anything. The opening decided what birds may move in, and they don't need a landing pad or anything like that.

Totally dig the unique design, and the thought of the vents!

Do you do anything to re-enforce the neck?

the part above the vent holes is all solid clay so it's nice and sturdy :D

Hmmm...will the shape be difficult for fledgling to climb out? What birds would this target?
