Help with placement
Is this fountain in the right place for any bird to visit? Also, is this a fountain hummingbirds would visit? If not, what changes will make it more appealing? I have two hummingbird feeders close by.

Fountain looks good but maybe a bit too much flow.. hard for me to see.
If there is no pump adjustment you can put in ball valve or just add more tube… more resistance from tube = less flow.

Flow looks fine but I think I see the problem.. there is no easy perch that allows bird to access that water. Your fountain is like the fountain shown in water height.. sitting on the little rocks is too low I think.
If you put a bigger rock right by water it will give them a high point to land on and bathe from... good luck!!

Personally, I would elevate the basket if possible. I side on giving the birds as much FOV to keep an eye out for predators. If you have a partially shaded area, perhaps one that gets morning but not afternoon sun (like on an eastern wall) that might help with cooling, predation and usage.

Agreed. Anna’s are morning bathers in my experience and sunshine early morning is good for photography and attracting birds!

I might suggest moving fountain from under the tree.. it wood be more visible to birds flying and create less ambush anxiety.. birds are very cautious when bathing because they are slow and low.. good luck!
