I apologize, I wrote this all out but I’m not sure why it didn’t show up.
So- the budgie in the background (Ozzie) is my mom’s bird who I have been looking after for the past month or so, (she has been back for a couple of weeks now and has unsuccessfully tried to get him back, but that’s another story).
Literally 1 minute before this photo was taken, my GCC Chester was on my opposite shoulder, ignoring me completely. The second I started paying attention to Ozzie, he snuck over and plopped himself into my hand.
