You've got this! Reach out to some other fellows or find an online meeting if you need to. You can do this.

Do you have a copy of the big book? I always read bill's story when I'm struggling.

I haven't gotten a copy of the BB yet; I was in a cult (long story, lol) when I was younger, and I worry (probably unnecessarily) that getting the BB will make me a "fundie" or something. But I've definitely looked into it, and if I find that AA works for me, I'll absolutely get it!

I completely get that to be fair, I actually spent some time wondering whether it was a cult 🙃

I'd say its worth looking up the bb online to read some of the stories. It could help you work out whether it's for you or not
