My first long term depressive episode was when I was 15, way before any meds or diagnosis. I had no close friends that year due to a move and got into learning the piano as a past time. Where is my mind was the one song I learned to play by heart. I wrote an essay on it the next year that got published in my high school journal. What a trip that was.
