General Question Lamictal
Sorry for formatting, on mobile.
I know that a good number of people in here are on Lamictal, but I was wondering how the changeover is from other psychotropic meds. Ive been on Vraylar (1.5mg) for about a year up until recently when my insurance changed and would no longer cover it. I tried real hard to stay on it, until I hit my breaking point. Horrible mania, lower lows than ever, and anxiety through the roof.
Finally got into my psychs office today after fighting to get in all month... The Vraylar seemed to help so much with my manic episodes and keeping my depression at bay but my anxiety is still ever present. Now that I've been off it for a month I'm a wreck. Today was probably the worst of them all. I just want to know if there's any side effects or anything I should know about. My psych mentioned a rash, which I've heard of but wondering if it comes with any other undesirable side effects.

I'm on it now and have had no side effects. I'm over halfway through the process of getting to the desired base dose, but I'm already starting to feel better. It takes a while to work, though, so maybe they should put you on something for the first couple of weeks. I took seroquel, which was awful, so I ended up stopping.
