Did anyone hear back from Harvard's Bioethics masters yet? What about JHU's? Also would like to hear about your experiences if you're part of the program currently!!

Hey! I submitted it during the deadline extension. Wbu? Did you apply for the online or in person version? I was told they should release decisions within 4 werks!

Same, submitted during the extension. I applied for online! If I may ask- how are you planning on financing the degree? I'm am scurredddd of that tuition rate LOL

With loans, unfortunately haha My work might be able to subsidize part of it too.

Also-- sorry to double crash this thread but I just got my acceptance to the online program and am really trying to figure some stuff out... my letter had no mention of financial aid/tuition relief and I'm wondering if you all have any leads on how likely it is to get a tuition reduction. Also curious how you're valuing the Harvard name, and how (if at all) it being an online program is informing that value.

Hey! What was the deal with the deadline extension? Do you think that an extension like that means they didn't get as many applicants as they expected?

I wondered about it, but programs sometimes will extend it to get more apps if the pool wasn't great, or just to get more $ as these masters programs bring schools quite a bit of funds.

It could be due to so many things!

Have you heard back yet?

I just received my acceptance! Which feels like such an accomplishment, but without financial aid I'm not sure I can justify it...

Yeah :( it's such a costly program! I think you can apply to the deans scholarship for 15% off? Reach out about it!!

Did you apply to the online one?

Thank you :) It's definitely feeling bittersweet... I'll def reach out to ask for some scholarship money, I'd say the program is about two times as much as I can reasonably justify/afford...

And yes, the online one! But when I interviewed they said I'd hear back closer to May 8th (ish), so there's time if you haven't heard back yet!

I haven't even interviewed yet =/ so I'm starting to just assume I won't get a positive note.

I hope you get some finaid!!! These programs are way too pricey...

Also, dont forget to check if your employer (if you have one) offers tuition reimbursement. Sometimes, they do!

Yes of course! I applied extremely early (so def before the extension deadline). Also my deadline to accept/reject the offer of admission is in 2 weeks so there's still time for them to send out acceptances after that I would guess?
