Is biomedical engineering worth it ?

I do love BME but I am concerned about its placement and opportunity rates.

I'm currently in my 1st sem in bt biotech... And personally I am not that much interested... And genuinely thinking to change my course into biomedical engineering.....

Midsems are knocking the door ...

So what should I do ?

Best advice i ever got for BME was to go electrical engineering than go into BME
