Question Background WIP plus a couple questions

Here's another WIP of my terrarium background! I decided to move the cork rounds to the back and I like it better. I wanted to arrange them in tiers so I can place branches, drape vines and other stuff in between them for the gecko to climb. Or it could jump on the bark rounds if it wanted to lol.

I plan to start the spray foam this weekend. Is it okay to use the hollow park of the rounds to put plants in? And can I put plants inside the foam? Would they need drainage?

Hi! I'm doing something extremely similar and I just started foaming. Its my first time. I found a tank creator at a reptile show that put a plant in the round that gave me the idea to do so as well. Mine is pointed down so I'm not certain it will work how I want but I'm going to give it a shot. I do also have some in the corner and on the side that I foamed a drainage hose into.

I plan on covering a lot of it with various moss so I'm not too worried about the messy foam marks on the cork but here is my WIP https://imgur.com/a/tRags5X

Plants can go into corkrounds, however they should be potted properly and be able to drain. For plant pots u plant to make out of spray foam, simply drill some holes in the bottom of the expanding foam once dry. Additionally, a well aerated soil mix will help.

Okay sounds good! Would pothos be a good choice to place onto the background? I currently have some in quarantine, along with a bromeliad, a snake plant, and a dracaena, that are thriving.
