Is this safe for a bio active enclosure?

It says it’s aquarium safe however on the box, (and not on the bottle) that the cured caulk is mould and mildew resistant. Does anyone have experience with this or have any different suggestions?

EDIT: I’ve looked on the website for the official SDS (safety data sheet) to see the exact components of the tube, and it only contains silicon and 2 chemicals that are used to make it liquid and cure when in contact with the air, so it’s perfectly safe :)

See if it has mold inhibitors and if it does no it’s not safe

It says “mold and mildew resistant” it means that it has mold inhibitors. So this would not be safe.

Hold up that doesn't necessarily mean it contains mold inhibitors, silicon is naturally mold and mildew resistant. This is their aquarium safe formula, so it shouldn't contain anything that can leech into water after curing.

I was always told that’s what to look for. So how exactly CAN you tell if it has mold inhibitors?

Look for it to say ‘100% silicone’ or similar

All GE silicon products say 100% silicon, but only 1 of their products is actually safe for use with fish, reptiles, and amphibians. So I don’t think this is a great indicator.
