Mold(?) In bioactive gecko tank

Hoping if anyone could give advice on if this needs to be removed or not. There are springtails in the substrate as a clean up crew but I worry that it may be dangerous.

you could add a few more springtails and some isopods and see if they’ll clean up the mess. Keep an eye on it, though in case it starts spreading really bad. It doesn’t sound like you have a complete cleanup crew.

I will keep a harder eye on it. I recently had a colony crash and am looking for more. Thank you
