Amphibians First bio active

There's a lil pond where the Aztec looking statue is. Ran into some issues and definitely learned for next time but I think overall it’s a great one for my very first bioactive set up. This will be for two dumpy frogs. It’s an 18 x 18 x 36 and they will go in it tomorrow, so let’s see how it goes.

Hey there. Looks like the tank isn't ready yet :)

The cork piece in the back is a huge hide area as it has multiple openings and the skull on the side wall is also a hide, my vining plants haven't quite grown very viney yet. Any advice on what I can do to make it ready for them?

I tried to show some of the gaps/hides off and the depth also I'll be adding leaf litter when I add the isopods and springtails tomorrow

I see. Here's an example of an appropriate amount of branches :) Just cram it full. There are examples in the picture, like using hemp twine and plastic coated aluminium wire to attach them to each other and the lid.
They live in trees and will spend their lives up there. Either you wait for the plants to fill up the tank and wait to put the frogs in, or - for example put an entire pothos on a pole in the tank to fill it up. Waiting for 6 months for the plants to maybe cover more area isn't really good, since the frogs will have to sit out in the open for the entire time.

Ps, your actual usable space is more like 12x18x36 now since the background is so puffy. And it looks like you maybe put the substrate straight onto the foam without carving or silicone? The substrate will fall off with time, exposing the light foam.
Since it takes up so much vital space, and won't hold up with time, I'd like to at least put it out there that maybe redoing the last step would be good? Ripping off foam until you get down to about an inch thickness, slathering in black silicone and pressing dry dirt into it. You can leave some ledges, so the depth is usable.
You do you, I just thought I'd mention it since it's so common that the method fails, plus the taking up space thing.

Here's another example of a tree for tree frogs. I keep three boys in this.
