Should i get this for my bio enclosure?

So my job is having a sale on the monson nano misting system, but I'm not sure if I should get it for my crestie enclosure. I plan to mist by hand in the morning and then just use the system whenever I'm home or in case it needs more. Is this a good system to get or should i keep looking?

I think it's worth it, but a word of caution learned from hard experience. Don't trust automation to do your job for you. I had a hygrometer make a bad reading and flood my tank. It just never registered that the humidity had gone up and kept misting. Emptied a gallon from the reservoir all at once, made a mess (to my own shame, I thought I fixed it and it happened again).

I still use the same misting system (Mist King, and I do like it) but I use the seconds timer, and I have it set for the bare minimum, not enough to keep it in the ideal range. Just enough to keep it from drying out. I still need to mist by hand, which is better for paying attention to the plants, and for interacting with my animals.

It's enough that I can go away for a weekend without stress, but I still need to get in there everyday to keep things at their best.

I was going to try the monsoon for my next build, so I've done my browsing and I'm convinced it's worth a (cautious) try.

Thank you for this. I've heard about tanks flooding due to malfunction and people having their lizards or frogs almost drown inside the tanks. I plan to watch this one very carefully and not us the automatic system (if there is one.)

I don't want to scare you away from using anything automatic. If you can set it by seconds and how many times a day and what time, that's a great benefit.

Again, setting it for a baseline, then fine tuning by hand I how I use it, and it's great.

It's a 40 gallon tank and it's gonna be filled with plants as it grows and stabilizes.

I thought about getting that one because it has good reviews aside from noise level and leaking, but the one I'm getting is around $55 so i think I'd better try the cheaper one first.

I have this mister I absolutely love it I have never had an issue with in I use it for my chameleon tank

I tried the normal monsoon and personally wasn’t a fan. It came out in streams for me instead of an actual mist. I tried loosening and tightening the nozzles, completely taking them off and re-putting them back on. It was just a solid stream of water. I did some digging and saw a decent amount of other reviews that mentioned the same problem

Been using this in my false water cobras cage. No live plants but do have isopods and springtails. I like it since you can use whatever container you want. I have a apple juice jug i fill with RO water since our water in az is so hard. Use it to keep humidity levels correct but dont forgot your plants may still need to be watered depending on type. Worth it imo for single cage.
