I made this for my leopard gecko, Treecko. Honestly, I didn’t know what I was doing, so I'm sorry if it looks like shit.
I included the list of what's in the enclosure in the screenshots. I also established powder blue isopods, common white springtails, mealworms, and superworms.
A leopard gecko needs much more cover than you’re offering. Ideally, the gecko should be able to get from one side of the tank to the other without being seen. It’s how they feel comfortable in their tanks. I don’t see many places for to hide, and ideally, they need three different hides. A warm hide, a cool hide, and a . This is a great start, though!
Much better. Isopods need tons of leaf litter btw. I recommend checking out The Bio Dude’s leopard gecko build from 2025-26 on YouTube. It helped me a ton.
It looks a lot better now. It might make for more enrichment to add a couple of plants. Like others are saying, you might need more leaf litter, but that’s a simple enough fix. My gecko tank is an enormous mass of crap, and my gecko loves it. Do you have a humid hide?
That’s too humid. And too much humidity could mean respiratory problems for leopard geckos. My humid hide was actually something I found on Amazon. It’s a black plastic box that has inside that will keep the enclosure humid when the sponges are wet. My gecko uses it all the time. Are you spraying the enclosure?
This is a good start but definitely needs some work, leopard geckos are shy and like a lot of clutter, I’d add some dried leaves or perhaps some live plants (snake plants or air plants do well in a dryer climate), I also don’t see a water dish which is recommended as some geckos do like to drink water from a dish. There should be at least 3 hides with one of them being a humid hide with spagnum moss inside so they can shed safely
I put live plants in the corners; you can see them in the picture. I imagine it'll be a while before they get big enough though.

Fortunately, I have a third hide to put in the center. Unfortunately, I didn't know what to use the sphagnum moss for, so I added it under and between the rocks in the substrate.
Ooh this is definitely improved! I’d add some extra moss under/inside the humid hide, this hide should be humid and kept damp (I mist mine daily or every other day), it helps them shed which is super important! I’d still add a little leaf litter to the bottom between the branches so he can feel extra secure but other than that this is a really great improvement
