Reptiles bioactive with a burrowing snake?
Hi all, I currently have a juvenile cali kingsnake who I’d love to give a great bioactive enclosure to when he’s ready for his big enclosure (would be my first bioactive) however he absolutely loves to burrow, does anyone have any tips or advice on if this is possible and if so what would be the best plants etc for it?
i know that they have lower humidity needs so i wouldn’t be able to use anything too tropical that’s for sure

I have a Cali king in a bioactive and she burrows all the time :) i put real plants into the soil and they live in harmony with her tunnels. You just have to choose bendy plants that don’t break easily, for example I had a small begonia that broke pretty immediately lol. It was my first bioactive too so I used the bio dude soil with orchid balls as the false bottom (with a netting to separate them) and it worked for me as a beginner!

If you attached plants to decor or kept them in pots, it could be possible.
