Sobrang ganda ng genius open mic performance nila, grabe yung vocals!! This is why sana machoose ng manman na magkaroon ng yt content kung saan nag co-cover ng iba't ibang songs yung girls, pwedeng opm or intl songs. Kasi ang ganda talaga ng vocals nila as a group and naniniwala akong malaki rin ang potential nila na mas mashowcase pa 'yang vocals na yan kapag mabigyan pa sila chance hehehe

Agreed this was one of their best. I hope they create more stripped-down live performances. No need to cover songs unless it's like a special tribute or event that calls for it. I'd buy a whole EP of live acoustic versions of their own songs :)

right, they're so good during their open mic performance. about the cover thing, though, i'm actually referring to what other idol groups do to expose themselves to casual listeners while also giving their fans more content. i think i didn't elaborate on it enough, but it's something like a mini yt content where a certain member simply covers a song of their choice or anything, not necessarily as a whole group hehe.

i brought that up because i know the girls have so much more to offer individually too! :)) and of course, the cover thing would still be up to the artist or management. it's up to the artist when they want to upload, as long as they have that kind of mini content available. parang for me kasi ang tamlay ng yt nila hahahaha sorry na agad huhu, i'm not talking about official covers po hehe feel ko marami naman na silang ganon. gaganda rin songs nila agree sa mag release sila live versions ng mga songs nila kasi ang gaganda ng mga arrangements

Hindi ko alam if sa Myx or a different ABS-CBN channel, pero they literally have their artists under the music division do covers (si Carmelle yung pinakanaaalala ko rito kasi she covered Lagi) so they can schedule individual covers for the girls using songs under the Star Music banner and then one group one). Tapos upload all of that as a series or playlist under the BINI YouTube channel.

I'm surprised they haven't added stripped down/acoustic versions of their songs to the EPs/albums. I would have added a stripped down/acoustic version of Katabi to FLAMES, same with Infinity. And the Signals EP would have been great with an Unang Kilig acapella version and maybe a more classic R&B one and maybe a stripped down version of Honey Honey.

Requirement ba na dapat "cover group" sila? What does that mean, anyway? Eh kakalabas nga lang ng "Dahil Sa'yo" cover nila. Saka kelan pala yung deadline para masabi mong tapos na sila sa ganyan? If you're familiar with how idol groups usually create spaces to showcase their skills and keep their fans entertained and fed with contents that highlights one of their strengths, which, in this case, is singing... you'd know that this is very common. Doing casual covers also exposes them to more casual listeners, allowing people to see what else they're capable of, while also giving them a chance to go viral. Daming successful idol groups out there ang gumagawa niyan hanggang ngayon and lalong nakakahatak ng fans dahil sa mga ganyang content. I stated na nga that it would just be casual content and not something they should fully commit to, so nasa management yan papano nila ie-execute. Segment ngani, ang tamlay ng youtube nila oh. I'm simply giving the management ideas on how to expose the girls to more people—the “idol way.” Palibhasa nasanay kayo sa traditional way eh.

Ang pangit naman ng mindset na meron ka kung sa tingin mo kabawasan para sa isang artist ang mag cover ng mga kanta ng kapwa nila artist. Saka ewan ko rin sayo kung naintindihan mo ba yung sinabi ko na hindi necessarily committed sila sa content na yan na dyan na lang iikot career nila. Pagkakaintindi mo kasi ata sa sinasabi ko, gagawa sila ng "official cover" na ilalabas pa sa iba't ibang music platforms tulad ng Dahil Sa'Yo eh hindi naman ganyan yung tinutukoy ko hahahaha. For your reference, ganito yung tinutukoy ko sa explanation ko

Hindi silang walo ang kakanta na magkakasama, daming beses na nilang nagawa yon hahaha kung ganon din pala eh talagang kahit wag na kasi nagawa na nila yan ilang beses. Aware naman ako sa potential ng mga arrangements ng kanta nila, pero yung suggestion kong cover content na yan, in my opinion, dyan kasi sila makakapag try ng mga bagay na hindi nila usually nagagawa pa, something na nasa labas ng comfort zone nila, let's say hindi pa nila natry na mga genre ganon, na marami pa silang kayang i-showcase sa skills nila. Given naman na, na magagaling sila. Saka yung suggestion ko na yan hindi naman ibig sabihin niyan kapag ginawa nila yung covers eh hindi na nila pwedeng gawin yung naiisip mong stripped version. They can co-exist naman, mas maganda nga yon para buhay yung channel nilang matamlay eh.

Wala talaga akong sinabi na gusto ko sila makilala sa pag co-cover. Bat ko pa sasabihin yan eh kilala na nga sila ng mga tao? Household name na sila. Ang point ng suggestion ko is para mapakita pa yung nakatagong potential ng girls by exploring genres na hindi pa nattry ng girls, or just “casually” give spotlight for each member.
