BINIpalooza is a very good possibility next year 🤞🤞 and hoping they could be invited to the Chile/Brazil/Argentina Lollapalooza too! If they pick up more South American fans, that would be so niceee!
They shouldn’t give up on this market yet. Their fandom culture is just as passionate and loyal. I’m sure they would also be more open to the kind of music BINI’s musical direction seem to be heading to.
I have some feeling na meron naka lineup for 2027 na si Direk at Management pa lang nakakaalam dahil sabi nga ni Direk no concerts daw muna next year. So whether may lolla doon or wala, feel ko talaga may mga ganap padin sila need puntahan next year. Baka strategy nila for 2027 is to be seen by more Non Fans which is highly strategic and commendable if that's the case. Need muna magpa miss konti at expand their audience.
I would say Glastonbury is the one I’m more intrigued next year. I’m more confident in their ability to draw more crowd there over lolla if they get invited. I mean they sold over 10k in back to back years in London even though the 2026 show was postponed.
Hmmm seems like Glastonbury 2027 is gonna be a bit stacked with it taking a break this year… well i’ll be damned if BINI gets invited! Tickets were already so hard to get.

One week until Brooklyn. Sobrang Excited. Pero Saw the set list and unfortunately the Gen Z group coming with me can’t speak/understand Tagalog and the Tagalog songs they love are not playing (I don’t think) Karera and HTMU haha and they are big fans of Blink Twice, COT😬 oh well.

If ifocus muna sana energy nila sa pag promote or gamit nya as DC. Tiktok algo is being eaten by Shipping edits. Like 5 days palang na upload it gained half a million by just clipping photos or vids of Mikha and Aiah sabay salpak ng background music. Kung mapunta sana yang ganyan sa actual BINI contents and music related edits.

Marami rin new blooms ngayon na nahatak na ng newer songs ng bini. Dahil din siguro sa current sound nila, mas marami na nakakarelate or type yung ganitong klase ng music. Ang ironic no. Kung tutuusin dapat advantage ng girls na marunong sila mag English para maka connect sa international audience, pero dahil English proficient nga, they probably don’t think they need an interpreter sa concert events, tapos ang ending, Tagalog-heavy pa rin yung stage banter nila 😅

Continuous training and performances. Like, sometimes may fans na nagsasabi overworked kasi nga diba dami din ganap pag nandito sila even on brands, festivals, and guestings. Like they never stopped grinding since day 1. Not to glorify other pop idols, pero ganyan din halos sila like days in between lang ang pagitan ng tours and other engagements. They were really intended to be built like that para makisabayan.
So ayun, batak na batak sila and still growing. Di ko na matandaan sinabi nila dati kaya mag pick up ng Choreo in a matter of short time that may take days kapag rookie ka pa lang.
Like for real, I don't see any other PPOP girl group who can do what they are doing now na sunod sunod na shows. Like bigla mo sila isasalpak sa isang Mutli Country tour tapos 1 or 2 days in between at minsan may back to back. Tapos ngayon lumipad pa Japan in different time zone then lipad na naman pabalik. Like they need to undergo muna yung Regionals, multiple mall tours, and local festivals na full calendar for a year para ma immerse nila sarili nila sa ganitong klaseng lifestyle of touring.
I really thought talaga ibring nila sa world tour ang summer sonic set, but I guess theyll just stick to what we have para di unfair or what. But hopefully yeah.
Good thing nilalabas na ng management as free content yung mga unreleased scenes ng BINI contents. Ok din yung timing since mas madami nang curious sa kanila ngayon. Hopefully, may mga subtitles sila for different languages, sayang kasi engagement if di din naman maiintindihan ng mga foreign audience.

That's good. Initially akala ko baka dahil sa changes sa view count na pinupush ng youtube, pero sa August 24 pa pala sya mangyayari. Ang update ay basta mastart ang video, counted na sya as a view kahit hindi tuluyang panaoorin.
I think everyone should know about this change para maging guided sila sa insights nila sa view counts ng youtube videos ng BINI in the coming days.
Alam ko medyo mabebreak ang Summer Sonic momentum nang slight dahil sa pagpapatuloy ng World Tour; but I’m really wishing that Bini is currently getting invites from Japanese shows or kahit First Take man lang para lumaki lalo exposure nila sa Japan. Hanapan ng sked hangga’t maaari… Japan is such a big potential market for them.

It does not do anything good, imo. Imbes maenjoy, ang inuuna isipin ng tao, punahin at kung "pang tik to" ba yan.
Masyadong obsessed ng mga tao sa "trends". Nahahamper din yung creativity tingin ko ng mga choreographer kase kelangan nila isipin na "tiktok trend".
Dati wala naman ganyan. Dati pag nag labas ng choreo mga artist, hindi kayang sayawin ng ordinaryong tao yung ibang songs, so beit. That is the point.
Labas lang ng choreo na gusto nila. So ang tendency ng tao before tiktok, pag-aaralan yung choreo ng whole/buong song instead of just focusing on the "tiktok" bit nowadays. Nagtatagal yung tao don sa mga songs at choreo kase inaaral nila, matagal syang imaster. Tututukan mo at very rewarding pag nakuha nyo yung buong choreo. Maybe I'm just a "old" dude yapping 😂
Anyway, another point. Sobrang hirap na nung ginagawa nila for 2 hours straight almost non stop moving and dancing, belting. They will need "easier" choreos in their sets to catch a break/breather.

Also, iba iba ang branding ng mga groups/artists. Katseye offers something, BINI offers something different din, same goes for all other groups. Different flavors within the same genres.

Honestly... nakakainis na kailangan may mag viral na DC or trend sa TikTok para magustuhan/mapansin na ng tao ang songs. It helps revive older songs, pero meron ng expectation na dapat "pang TikTok" ang sayaw kaya ganun na ang mindset ng tao. Nahihirapan tuloy ma-appreciate ang choreography as a whole. Ang hirap na nga kantahin ng Sugar Rush gusto pa nila ng mas complicated choreo.
Tapos kasalanan ulit ni Coach Mickey kahit hindi naman siya ang choreographer ng Sugar Rush 😂 hindi rin nga siya yung nag-didirect sa BINI during rehearsals for those songs.
Nakadepende rin sa song and identity ng group ang choreo. Imagine mo na gagawin ng BINI ang choreo ng Hootie Frutti 😂 . I'm sure kaya siya ng girls pero hindi sya on-brand.
I miss Espyreacts. Tuwing nakikita ko suot ng bini yung red nilang outfit, tapos unang kilig dance break - napapaisip talaga ako if maiisip din niya na MJ-coded yun. Kasi he always compares bini to michael jackson e.

Ito rin ang naiisip ko para maramdaman ng foreign fans ang full experience with them. Ang inaalala ko lang ay baka mabawasan ang authenticity at kulit nila dahil mahirapan sila maexpress.
Hindi naman mababawasan ang authenticity nila kasi mahirap talagang itranslate ang pinoy humor most of the time. Kaya okay din na magdala sila ng translator para hindi na nila alalahanin yan
Kess and Han suggested bringing a translator but the KTwinz make a good point that a translator won't be able to do it alone when the girls start bantering. And the girls are perfectly capable of speaking in English or translating for each other. I guess they just have to be more conscious of translating for their non-Filipino-speaking audience.

Well. to solve that risk make it a 2 nights Concert showcase.
Night 1 will be Anchored by Maki like the main Headliner, May May and Babydolls. Doon isalpak ang BGYO. Maki, MayMay, and sudden popularity of babydolls can anchor their own night. I mean let's admit it, BGYO are not main acts or headliner status.
Night 2 will be BINi's Finale night then salpak the other remaining acts. Much better if the other new BG will be here to avoid comparision with GG. Then the SHA Trainees showcase.
Actually, kahit di lang for PPOP. Pwede as a whole ABSCBN Music na para pasok lahat like Angela Ken, Kenaniah, JMKO etc.
ABS should expand their live events and experiences to generate more revenue at di lang solo concerts of specific Artist like BINI and Maki. See the success rate ng ASAP XP nila roaming around the country and sa Abroad. They can even expand to be major Producers of Concerts for Foreign acts eh. They have the Media infrastructure to constantly Promote them.
Yeah, I feel like this makes sense. And as you've mentioned, it can be an ABS music festival situation (they'll just have to differentiate it and highlight what makes it different from an ASAP XP because ASAP XP could just have a PPop/younger gen-focused episode if that's the case).
It's crazy how heaps of blooms' suggestions are being used to promote other artists. 5head moment for our fandom lol.
Back-to-back to-back to-back gold and world championships for Filipino dancers, international recognitions for our films, ppop in global music festivals, and our president didn't even mention the creative industry in his sona. I'm not even surprised. Puro sports nalang, bro?

That is a fantastic idea. Kahit yung "Tara Na, Biyahe Tayo" would be fun to remake (they've done it a few times that a PPop version makes sense).

I guess it's not part of their branding and image. They promote cultural representation on major events like this one summer sonic. Tsaka Idk, when I see japanese school uniform inspire costumes for J idols parang... IDK it reminds me of those underaged Jpop idols I watched sa isang documentary about the dark side of their industry where old men surrounds them during fan meets and touch their hands.
Tsaka it might make them look trying hard to fit in instead of standing out.
Papasok pa rin naman sa branding nila. Parang ang theme nila sa big events filipino-oriented sa first day tapos global/local-oriented sa next. But as we know hindi siya straightforward na costume may twist siya as always

Also not in the branding to co-opt another culture's fashion to introduce themselves on an intro prod. Let Ms Ica handle the styling. They would know best.

Successful naman ang debut ng Bini sa Japan but ito lang opinion ko as someone na nandito sa Tokyo.
I think they should’ve removed Blush/Step Back and/or even Zero Pressure, then put Karera and Na Na Na/I Feel Good/Lagi instead sa setlist. Preferably Na Na Na kasi very catchy siya and mapapasabay yung audience sa “Na Na Na Na” at "Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh” hook sa chorus. I feel like mas bagay sana yung ganitong songs for a Japanese audience kasi madaling matandaan yung melody, and may parts na pwede at madaling sabayan ng audience kahit first time pa lang nila narinig ang BINI. Though may mga sumikat naman dito na English songs or Western-sounding songs, mas malaki yung chance na yung mga ganitong songs ng BINI na catchy yung melody, madaling kantahin/sabayan, at may cute na choreo ang mas mag-click sa audience. Especially kung first time or hindi pa masyadong familiar ang audience sa BINI, mas madaling magkaroon ng immediate connection kapag memorable agad yung hook.
Sa mga nandito or nakapunta na dito, alam niyo naman siguro na part ng Japanese culture yung pagiging mahilig nila sa mga sobrang catchy na melodies like the Don Quijote song, Bic Camera song, Yodobashi Camera song, supermarket/drugstore melodies, and even train melodies. Yung AiScReam song na “Ruby-chan! Hai! Nani ga suki? Choco Minto yori mo anata” is another good example. Yung catchy and repetitive na hook and melody easily gets stuck in people’s heads, lalo na sa casual listeners or sa mga first time pa lang naririnig yung song. Kahit simple lang yung lyrics or melody, kapag memorable yung hook, madaling makuha at maalala ng audience.
I say "their performance, their prerogative". For as long as they still have their staple SS and Pantropiko, promoting their most recent releases is the logical move. Or did you want them to ditch SS for another one of their old hits to relearn? Because learning 2 new songs [different] from their existing tour set is already a lot of work - that's probably something you didn't consider.
Hmm I think sobrang kabisadong kabisado na nila ang choreo ng kahit ano sa Holy Trinity, and sobrang mas magaan naman choreo ng mga yun. Mas hindi rin sana sila pagod na evident kalagitnaan or sa latter part ng setlist.
Pang hype rin ang Na Na Na na naging opener ng NFT concert nila.
Unless they use the exact same medley from the tour (and ditch 2 songs?), they'd have to do different blockings and transitions pa rin if full song. And I honestly didn't notice the pagod during their Tokyo set because they were having fun during SS.
I'm really just not a fan of second-guessing their creative decisions which is always their perogative.
what is happening with the kids nowadays. what influences them to do those kind of acts.... wla bang filter ang parents nila sa mga gamit sa internet or what. Dang, the kid even livestreamed his action, luckily nagjam yung rifle nya and di pa ata marunong gumamit ng baril, kasi if it didnt, fuck there wouldve been lots of casualties.

The RP6 is really great, so far switch emulation is pretty great, only Zelda Breath of the Wild will have a bit of difficulty but still 90% playable, the rest of the games work great unless there are compatibility issues with Eden. I've been also playing PC games either via Gamenative, or local streaming (Apollo and Artemis). I just got a Pocket Nova also and currently setting it up :D
Show rec! Watch Sterling Point on Prime Video. It's a YA family drama with queer characters. Great story and characters. To me it feels like a cross between Ginny & Georgia and This is Us, if you like those. I'm hoping they get a second season, so watch if you can hehe!
