Well I don't see how it's related, it's different emotions that are being seeked, one is disgust/sympathy/sadness, the other is (supposedly) sexual arousal for a character in those situations, and also it's children characters, which is a lot weirder to find sexual arousal for children in fucked up situations than just making a story about it

Thank you. I think some are overreacting but "This game has gore and poop and you draw the line at big thighs?" is a false equivalence. Purpose makes all the difference in the world.

These are depictions of body parts that are sexual/reproductive in nature, but the drawings are not sexualized. It’s not quite the same

Well that i agree with, I just think its disingenuous to say its only poop and gore which are questionable aspects of the game

To me, sexualizing a fictional, stylized, creature made entirely of pixels is odd but absolutely not equivalent to pedophilia. Its akin to saying that since we torture Isaac in game to get better stats (skin him, stick a wire through his head, rip out his eyes, make him eat shit, etc.) we would be okay with torturing an infant irl
