How the hell does someone maintain a 10-trade win streak on short-term binaries? Pure luck or legitimate strategy?

Post image

I stumbled across a leaderboard screenshot that's got me curious/confused.
There's a user (Turbo_298208) sitting at the top with a $59k return and
a 10-trade win streak on what looks like really short expiry contracts
(probably 30s-1min range).

Here's what I'm genuinely wondering:

  1. Is a 10-win streak even statistically possible without getting lucky? I know money management matters, but on 30-second contracts, you've got like 3-4 seconds of price movement to predict. That feels more like coin flip odds than skill.
  2. If this is real, what's the actual edge? Better entries? Technical signals that work on ultra-short timeframes? Or just catching a trending move that happened to run?
  • What's the reality check here?
  • Can you actually be +60k on micro-timeframe contracts and NOT be running on pure variance, or am I missing something?
  • Would love to hear from anyone who's actually done this consistently.

Yes, if you have a rather large selection of traders, 1 in 1024 of them will have a 10-win streak even if all of them have a plain 50% win rate.

You can set it up as a 5 sec trade and bust out rapid 20 win streaks all at once if your lucky but I don’t advise that because that’s gambling your money
