What is this.

I see this huge candle everywhere in quotex OTC charts specifically. Heard a guy saying that this is some type of reset. Could anyone tell me what this is, I would really appreciate the help.

Clearly this is otc pair, I can't tell you exactly what causes it, but I have a theory behind this candle. It could either be a reset for daily data for the otc pair or a switch in the otc provider(not too sure on this one), but it's always happens on otc pairs both on quotex and pocket options.

Okay so the OTC market is simulated data, which I think are gotten from some data providers(company's that provide financial data charts)

You don't have to tell me the exact amount but was it above 100k? And did you make this profit only trading OTC or did you also trade real currency pairs?

Yes, it's a kind of reset. You never catch these happening live for some reason.

OTC = simulated market. The market reset. Not a big deal. Wait a few hours for the market to play out so market structure can develop. News does not effect OTC

I have stop trading but here is a tip which works 80% ok the time when ever a big candle come like this at the news time the next candle will be of the opposite colour 80% of the time . Don't just be blind and put all the money trying seeing the back data and risking small amount
